In 2009, I reached a crossroad.  I have always loved art and the sheer beauty contained within each object.  At the time, I was pursuing a graduate degree in Curatorial Studies, but in my spare time, creating jewelry. As a child, I could remember creating designs for my mom to wear.

With change, I started to create again.  I was shocked when doing my research how the beading/custom jewelry world has changed over the years.  After seeing how well my jewelry was going and people's reaction to it and lack of movement in the museum industry; that made my mind up for me. So I said goodbye to the Curator/Museum world and put all free energy into designing and producing unique, one of a kind jewelry.  Bean’s Beads was born.

I want to embrace all the beautiful colors and designs this world has to offer and push my own limits of design.  I am always experimenting with new techniques in beading, as well as looking at Fashion to see what’s in, and what’s not.
